While eating at Denny's, I noticed right away that there was not many workers. I saw only 2 waiters trying to serve as many as 12 tables. They had no one to help them and no one to seat us at a table. It took them atleast 5 minutes of running around trying to help everyone before seating us at a table. It looked as if they were stressed out. The whole time I was there, the waiters did not even have a break.
ReplyDeleteAfter most of the guest left, another worker arrived. Kind of too late for that because the rush of guest has just ended. The waiters finally had their chance to relax for a little while the other worker started their shift. Other than that they did a good job helping one another out to get the job done.
I was at Denny's too. Strangely i noticed the same things. I'm almost positive that it had something to do with me sitting right next to Kevin. But yes. The first time the waiter came over to our table he seemed stressed out. It appeared that he was a manager too. besides him i only noticed one other person working not including the cooks.
ReplyDeleteThe waiter/manager also took thee longest time getting our checks. And by longest time i mean twenty minutes or so. And then when he brought them over he asked us if we wanted to but a clover for Jerry's kids. I was happy to but the way he asked us made it so awkward to say no. It was like he cornered us into doing it. It made me laugh.
